Form work diary

Planning-
Mindmap for form:
To create the mid map I just thought of anything with form to it, whih is basically everything yu see, but I had to think of the most relevant things and what gave the best form,Using the studio at the college was a new and exciting experience for me. There was a range of equipment available for me to use that I would not otherwise have access to, and I am looking forward to using the studio again. I enjoyed taking the photos of the props in the studio and felt that the images produced were good and effectively showed form in the images.

Some good photos-

1.

Another photo that I particularly like is this photo of a these eggs as I had to bring the eggs in myself as I thought they would be a great object to represent form. I like this photo as the background is consistent even though I didn't have a professional set up and simply placed them on my desk and put a big of black paper on the wall behind to create a black plain background to take the photo. It's a very simplistic photo where and the background from the white desk gets darker in an ombre effect. And it provides contrast.

2.

My favourite prop to use was the gas mask as it was such an unusual object. I would like to have brought in some more of my own props to give me greater choice of options for photographs and allow me to be more creative.  This photo of a gas mask and scissors I love in particular as it represents form with the direct and harsh light coming from the top right corner. Also I used the gas mask and scissors to symbolise humans and destruction and the flowers to represent nature.
