Form Definition:The defined configuration, constitution, or makeup of an item, including its geometrical dimensions, color, density, weight, and other visual characteristics that give it a unique identity and differentiate it from other items. So the visible shape or configuration of something.Form
is a three
dimensional shape,
such as a cube, sphere or cone.Sculpture
and 3D design are about creating forms. In 2D
artworks, tone and perspective can be used to create an illusion of form. Shape refers to the two dimensional artworks like paintings.Formrefers to three dimensional artworks like sculptures. Photographers can only create the illusion of form. The difference between shape and form

This photo is a good representation of form as it shows the whole 3 dimensional shape of the balls, this is because of the lighting in the photo as it helps create shadows and hightled sections to help showcase the form of the objects in the photo. Also this photo is in black and white, which helps people see the form and shadows of the objects because there is no colour to draw your eyes attention too. Also without colour makes the photo more dramatic and it looks like it has more meaning to it, whereas if it was in colour it would look less dramatic as the lighting wouldn't have as much as an effect.

This photo is also a good representtation of form as again the lighting in the photo has a very big impact to how much of the form we see, especially in the photo as the light seems like its coming from the top and right side so then this has created shadows on the bottom of the eggs and the left side. This photo just like the previous on is in black and white, which makes it more dramatic again. Also you can slightly see the texture of the eggs which is quite bumpy and not smooth as they would normally appear depending on what egg it is. These eggs have also been put in a different environment to what they would normally be in, for example they would normally be in an egg case or on a kitchen counter, but here they look like they have been placed on an un-level floor
